This is my first journal entry using my “new” Microsoft word program.
When my dad got this laptop computer for me last Christmas I wasn’t really sure how to install this program so I didn’t really use it.
I would try to open the Microsoft works program but then it would ask for some sort of verification number that I didn’t have or know where to look for the number so I didn’t really use my laptop for what I wanted to use it most for.
I asked for a laptop for Christmas so that I could use it to write my first novel and so I look at porn on the internet.
A couple of days ago I noticed this icon on the desktop of my laptop for the Microsoft trial software and it gave me a link to follow to purchase this software from the Microsoft website.
So last night I went to the Microsoft website and purchased the software for my laptop and then I downloaded a bunch of updates for the software as well.
Yeah I know that’s retarded of me to hold off for so long before installing this basic software.
So now I will begin creating my journals and my writings of fiction from within my laptop computer instead of using one of my email accounts to write in and then sending it to myself.
I have another hour before I go to get my dinner so I have some time to kill.
I am going to save this and then I am going to try and see if I can somehow put a lock on the folder that I will store this in.
A little while later...
So I can’t put a password onto anyone of my folders but what I can do is add a guest account onto my computer.
That way when my dad has to borrow my laptop I can set it up to where he can not access my journals or all of the dirty pictures I have downloaded from the internet.
To set up the guest account I have to go to the start up menu and click on control panel and then click on the icon that says ‘user accounts’ I think.
And then I have to click on the icon that says ‘add user accounts’ and then it will bring up a screen that has two accounts, the guest account would be the one that I would have to select.
I had to work this morning.
I was there from eight a.m. to one p.m. but I didn’t have any patients.
I took care of the pull sheets for Monday and Tuesday and then I put away the charts from yesterday.
After that I helped put the Christmas decorations away and then after that I thought I would be able to leave. Nope.
I still had to call the patients for Monday to remind them about their appointment which wasn’t that big of a deal, but I just didn’t want to.
I wanted to go home and go back to bed.
The very last patient that I had to call was kind of a pain in the butt.
So while I was on the phone with him, he’s middle eastern but he speaks good English, he said that he had an allergy to shellfish.
Usually if your allergic to shellfish or seafood then that means that your also allergic to the iodine contrast dye that we use on most of the cat scan tests.
So he’s asking all these questions about whether or not we’re going to give him the dye and I tell him yes.
He then starts saying that he has a really bad allergy to shellfish so he’s telling me that I have to call the doctor.
So I ask him if we gave him Benadryl or if the doctor gave him a prescription to take before the test the last time he was here and he’s saying that he doesn’t remember and that I should know that because I have his records there.
So at this point I’m thinking, he has had a cat scan at least once a year for the past two years and each of them are the type of ct’s that we would usually give the iodine for but he can’t remember whether or not the doctor gave him steroids and Benadryl or if we just gave him some Benadryl.
So at that point I have to call the doctor.
so I call the doctor and the first phone number I call is to the office that the doctor is not at on Saturdays so they give me a number to one of the other offices.
I tried to explain to the girl who answered the phone that I needed to know whether or not this patient that will be in on Monday will be getting the dye or not because the patient is allergic to the dye.
So the girl on the other end of the line says she’ll give the note to the doctor and then she’ll call me back.
I call the patient back, I think his first name was Jamal, and I explain to him that since the doctor gave him medication to take before the test last time that he will have to have the same medication again if we’re going to do the test with the iodine.
But then I go on to explain to him that if the prescription that the doctor gave to him in order to have the test says to have the cat scan without the dye then we don’t need to worry about contacting the doctor.
I also explain to him that I did speak with the doctor’s office but I was still waiting to hear from the doctor.
Jamal was like, “well then we have to wait to hear from the doctor and I will give the doctor a call to see if we can have this taken care of.”
At this point I was like well I don’t really want to wait to hear from the doctor but then a couple of minutes later the doctor called.
I explained the situation to the doctor and she said that she would give the patient the medication to counteract the allergy, so that was taken care and then I realize that the patient’s insurance required a authorization number so I had to call the doctor’s office again.
The girl that answered said they would have to take care of it on Monday morning so hopefully they’ll be able to get that before the patient comes in on Monday.
After that I went upstairs to the filing room to help Teresa do some of the purging.
I think at that point Teresa and I would of left but she was waiting for the computer to copy the images from the cd of ct’s from some hospital.
After that I left and got lunch.
After lunch I took a nap and then I went to the bally’s on eight and harper to get my membership card.
I tried to get a membership card last night at the bally’s on mound but their computer was down.
I think that is it for now.

I have to go purchase a new lock.

Sunday, December 30th, 2007 at about 9:20pm.
It is Sunday night, the night before new year’s eve.
I have my brand new laptop computer and I spent a half hour trying to figure out how to make the computer capitalize the first letter of each sentence.
My brother and one of his friends, I forget what his name is, but they just left to go smoke marijuana.
Mike, my brother, brought his brand new bong with him.
I have to work tomorrow but I think I still only have one patient.
When I left work Saturday morning the schedule said only one patient for tomorrow morning and work hasn’t been open since Saturday morning so I’m pretty sure that I still only have one patient tomorrow morning.
This is the first time that I have used this program in my computer.
The computer asked for a product code or something and I have no clue as to what that is.
None of the paper work that came with my new toy had anything on it that said it was the product code so I didn’t type in the product code and its allowing me to use this program twenty three more times I think is what it said.
I have to talk to dad tomorrow sometime about the product code thing and the possibility of getting the actual Microsoft word or works from one of the stores online for me.
I’m not sure if this is the actual real Microsoft works or if its just some sort of free trial thingy.
I have to take an orange juice break.
Tomorrow before I leave work I am going to call Christopher to see what is up with him.
This program automatically capitalized the c in Christopher but it wouldn’t do that to the name chris.
I am sitting at the table in my townhouse place that I share with my brother Mike.
The computer didn’t capitalize the m in mike either but I guess that is understandable because mike can be short for microphone.
If this is the way that the real program is going to be like then its not that bad, I especially like the word count thingy in the lower left hand corner on here.
Its now 9:32pm and I usually go to bed at about eleven pm or I should say that is the time that I shoot for usually.
I should put the date and time at the top of these journal entries as well so I think that is what I am going to do now.
I am used to using the numbers on the right hand side of the keyboard on a regular computer but this laptop doesn’t have those numbers.
Instead it has a top row of numbers like all computers usually do.
Tomorrow is new year’s eve and my only real plans are to go to my dad’s house sometime after I get out of work.
Maybe tomorrow night I’ll just stay at dad’s house so that I can avoid the potential for noise and what not from mike the drunken mikrofone..
If I stay at dad’s house tomorrow night then I can stay on the internet as long as I want to and I get to go to sleep when ever I want to as long as its after midnight cause I don’t think my parents would really let me go to bed before midnight on new year’s eve.
They would be like, “is everything alright?...are you sure there is nothing wrong?”
Staying up that late should not be a problem because for the past several days I have been staying up past midnight.
I think I have been staying up past midnight since I got my new laptop computer.
I’ll call chris sometime tomorrow in the late morning before I leave work to see if maybe we could maybe meet for a dinner tomorrow or maybe even on new years day.
Would most places be open during their regular hours on new year’s day though, I know the Panera by the Macomb mall is only open until six pm on new year’s day but I would imagine that most of the bars would be open.
I already took my shower so that is why I have so much time right now to sit here and type my journal.
But anyways as I was in the shower I was thinking to myself that since I have so much stories to put on my fiction blog that I have somewhere on blogger.com I will only do the journal thing on the weekends and on the rest of the days I could put more time into putting those stories on my fiction blog.
I eventually want to start putting all of my journals on the fiction blog as well.
I could copy the journals that I have already created and put those on my fiction blog but when I put them on there I would change them and exaggerate on them greatly.
Maybe I will just start heading up to bed now since my eyes are tired.
I’m not having trouble keeping my eyes open its just that they are dry and I do feel tired but its not the kind of tired where I am having trouble keeping my eyes open but I am getting there.
Its about five minutes or so to ten pm.
I like this font better I think.
This is the times new roman font and the one that the computer came preset at was called Calibri.
Calibri is fine too because my some of my ancestors are from there…
I am assuming that Calibri has something to do with the town or city in southern Italy Calibria.
Anyways, I am going to get ready for bed now.
I like this font better because it shows the difference between a capital eye and a lower case el.

Tonight or early tomorrow its suppose to snow like cats and dogs so the drive in tomorrow morning could really interesting.
they're saying maybe as much as ten inches!
and then its going to snow again on sunday apparently.
i really need to start my christmas shopping on saturday and i don't know what to get anybody besides gift certificates.
i want to avoid giving gift certificates because that just seems too easy.
probably a week or two ago i received the movie cloverfield in my mail box from netflix.
i think i mentioned before that i do subscribe or would it be supscribe...to netflix.
its subscribe.
the problem with cloverfield is that its not playing on my laptop computer!
the last movie that i rented from netflix was 'perfume, the story of a murderer' which i thought was good, but not really amazing.
out of five stars it was a three and half to maybe a four and a half.
i think i'm going to start a new blog and add it on to this one...it'll be just for rating the movies that i rent.
i think that is what i'll do right now.

tomorrow or tonight its suppose to snow really heavily.

Right now I am sitting at my table creating this journal just as i have before.
today at work wasn't that bad, we were really busy but the last hour or so got a little hairy.
my left wrist/arm/hand hurts, but i know its not from jerking off because i jerk off with my right.
on saturday night was the night that i was suppose to go to chili's or friday's with my friend chris and his friends.
it was friday's, anyways we were originally going to meet at the one on hall road and schoenner but sometime before that chris text messaged me to tell me that they were going to meet at the one on thirteen and dequindre.
the problem was that my new cell phone was already broken when he called me so i never go the call.
so i drove to hall and schoenner, which was more than ten miles from where i was located and the weather was starting to get really bad, and i go into chilis and call chris because i can't see him because their packed and he tells me that we're meeting at the one closer to home.
so i drive back towards home which is in that same general direction of the chilis where my friend is meeting me.
and all this time its raining and its cold out so there is the concern of slipping and sliding.
i didn't eat at chilis because i ate earlier and i'm a really picky eater and since i don't drink beer i only get a coke and i'm the first one to leave.
skipping ahead to what i did after work today...i went to the cell phone store to return my cell phone that doesn't work and it actually went really smoothly.
they said to me that their going to order me a new phone and it will hopefully be in by wednesday or thursday at the latest, they told me to hold onto the phone until i come and pick the new one up.
and they told me i don't have to pay a restocking fee or anything.
i wasn't going to pay a restocking fee or anything like that but i'm surprised that went so smoothly.

I am at my house right now creating this journal entry.
I am going to turn on the tv right because i think there is a football game on television.
Its the dallas cowboys vs. the new york giants.
the detroit lions lost again and i think the game was blocked out again.
Yesterday or earlier today president shrub was in iraq giving his farewell speech to them and a iraqi reporter threw his shoes at bush.
in iraqi culture throwing your shoes at someone is a sign of disrespect or something.
my brand new cell phone that i got on friday is already in the box ready to take back to the store that i got it from.
sometime last month i went into this cell phone store, that my dad had gone to several months ago to get his new phone that happens to be down the street from where i work, and i told them that i wanted a new phone.
they looked up my contract and they told me that i could wait until december first to get the free upgrade for my cell phone, so that is what i decided to do.
while i was still there, sometime last month, they asked me what kind of phone i was looking for and i told them the kind of stuff i wanted to do with the phone and they recommended the blackberry curve.
they said for the blackberry curve i would have to only pay two hundred for it and then i would get a one hundred dollar mail in rebate if i waited until december first.
they asked what kind of .....
blah blah blah.
to make a long story short when i came back in on december first to get my phone they found out that the blackberry curve wasn't compatible with my cell phone plan.
my dad pays the cell phone bill so i have to get a phone that is compatible with that plan.
also the plan is in my dad's name so my dad was pissed that i purchased the phone and put it on his plan.
he complained to the people at the store saying that i was not allowed to make purchases and put them on his bill.
anyways, then they tried to get me to get another cell phone something like my dad's cell phone but without the windows operating system and the navigation thing.
i was going to get that one but then i changed my mind before i decided to pick that one up.
i decided that i was going to get the one my dad had, i think its called the treo palm 800 or something.
but i think it originally took the blackberry curve like a week or something to come in and then it took me awhile to figure out what phone i really wanted.
so anyways, on tuesday or wednesday i went into the cell phone store with my dad to tell them that i wanted the same phone that my dad had and we ordered it.
i picked the phone up on friday and then yesterday my dad was on the phone with the sprint people for like an hour trying to get my cell phone to work.
finally the tech support guy told my dad that since he still had the thirty day warranty on it to just take the phone back to the store we purchased it from to get a new phone.
my dad has the same cell phone and he hasn't had most of the same problems that i have had.
and its not like i'm retarded when it comes to computers and so fourth...the phone just isn't working properly and part of the problem is i think that the phone is so new that the people working for sprint don't even really know the phone yet.
also, the car charger i purchased when i went in on tuesday with my dad to order my new cell phone is actually the wrong car charger, its for a different treo palm phone.
so i need to take my brand new phone and bitch about how it doesn't work anymore and the car charger thing into the cell phone store after work tomorrow.
when your reading my blog you'll notice that there are two dates on each of my blog entries.
the very top one that is in fancy print is the date when this was published on my blog.
the second date that is in the same print as the body of the text is when the body of the text was originally written.
what i do is i type the journal as an email and i send it to myself and then at a later date i upload the journal entry up to my blog and i run it through the spell checking to make sure its proper to publish and then i publish it on my blog.
i guess that is it for now.

Today as i have already stated is thursday, and tomorrow is friday and i think i get paid tomorrow but i don't know if i'll stop by work to pick up my check or not.
Tomorrow is also the day that i think i pick up my cell phone.
i really can't wait to get my new cell phone.
i really can't wait.
last night i shaved my pubes.
well, not really shaved...but i am pretty much bald down there now.
i use this stuff that you spread on over the hair and then you wait several minutes and then you wash it off.
the instruction tell you wait three minutes but i think i waited five or six minutes before i washed the stuff off.
anyways i think i'm going to be getting my new cell phone tomorrow but i'm going to wait until they call before i go and get my phone.
i think i might have to work saturday morning but i'm not exactly sure so i'll have to call work tomorrow and when i call i might as will ask if we get paid tomorrow as well.
today i purchase the harry potter book...its not a harry potter book but its written by the same author.
its called the tales of beedle the bard, and basically its a collection of short children stories set in the harry potter world.
i purchased the book because i really liked the harry potter books and the proceeds from the book go to some children's charity set up by the author and some other guy.
so i donated a little money to some charity.
i finished the last stephanie plum book...fearless fourteen is what it was called.
i think there are two other stephanie plum books but their not part of the number series.
stephanie is the main character in the books, not the author of the books.
like i said i think there are two or maybe three other stephanie plum books that are not part of the number series and i almost purchased one of them but i decided against it mostly because i think these are aimed at a female audience and i'm a human male.
in the past when i've purchased those books i always felt akward about taking them up to the counter because i knew and the person taking my money knew that these were chick lit books.
i guess what i liked about them was that they were entertaining and easy to read.
on saturday night i'm going out with chris and some of his friends to the bar or some restaurant for a christmas slash end of the year celebration.
i guess i've kind of ran out of steam already.

i'm going to spend probably most of tomorrow morning with my dad.

Right now I am sitting at my kitchen table creating another absolutely amazing journal entry.
i think i have the rest of the week off.
there is a chance that i may have to work next saturday but that would only be for the morning.
i just finished watching the second season of jericho on the netflix website.
i'm still going to eventually rent it from netflix because i think they have two different endings on the dvd's and they probably have some other extra stuff on there as well.
i have the canadian channel on the tv, its hockey night so i think they're going to have hockey games on the tv tonight for the rest of the night.
i think i finished watching jericho last night...
its a shame that that show has been canceled because i think its the most amazing tv show i have watched.
i think part of the reason why it was canceled was because of the writer's strike.
i also suspect that it was canceled because of the topic of the show its self.
i really do think its a shame that it was canceled because like i said i think it was a really amazing show.
how can a stupid show like friends go on for what seems like for ever but then a great show like jericho get canceled after two seasons.
friends or seinfeild went on for ever because the content of those shows wasn't as serious as jericho so it appealed to a wide variety of people.
i feel like we're losing something really great with jericho going off the air.
tomorrow i'm going to church at ten o'clock because i pretty much have to.
i don't want to and i don't think i'll get there on time...
i was baptized as a roman catholic but i don't believe in the whole religious thing.
when i purchased my new car my dad gave me one thousand dollars to use as part of my down payment.
i didn't ask him for help in paying for my car but he pretty much insisted that i take the money.
when he told me that he was giving me the addition money he said that he would give me the money if i went to church and got involved with the activities that they have for people my age.
and he said that wasn't asking a lot in exchange for the thousand dollars.
i realize that one thousand dollars is a lot of money to just give to someone but i would rather of not accepted the money because i consider it to be asking a lot of me to go to church because i don't believe in god.
or at least i don't think i believe in god.
if i would of refused the money then he would of asked why.
then i would of had to explain to him why i don't want to go to church.
i don't really want to go into those details so i'm not going to go into those details.
i have to go to church tomorrow because i have to look into the activities that this church offers just in case my dad asks me about the details of the church so i have more details to tell him.
as i was driving to wendys to get my dinner some kid threw a snowball at my car.
i think there were two of them but i think i was only hit with one snowball on the passenger side windshield.
the snowball didn't cause me to crash my car and it didn't hurt my car or anything like that.
when i saw the kids i knew that those little bastards were going to throw snowballs at me.
but i'm surprised that they had the nerve to do something like that.
what if those little bastards did that...what if they caused a car accident?
or what if they threw snowballs at the wrong car...you know what if they hit a car and the driver stopped the car and got out and chased after those bastards or shot them?
i guess thats it for now.
i think i'm going back to the netflix website and watch another movie on there.
