florida vs. oklahoma

Right now I am sitting at my kitchen table creating this journal entry.
Last night I spent a great deal of time visiting other blogs and leaving comments on them with the hopes of eventually getting more attention for my blog.
As of right now I think only one person has left a comment on my blog but I have received comments back from some of the comments that I have made on other blogs.
I don’t expect to attract a lot of attention for my blog over night but eventually I would like to have a large collection of readers that way when I start posting my works of fiction on my blog then maybe it wouldn’t be so hard to get people to go over to that blog.
But on the other hand the main reason why I blog is so that I can express my self and bitch about my life.
Today and yesterday I went to the gym and I worked out.
Since today is Sunday I got up a little earlier than I would of like to so that I could go to church. I think I mentioned this before but I go to church because my dad makes me.
I know that is a lame ass excuse but that is the truth.
At some point in the future I’ll talk more about this, but not right now.
Anyways, I got up at eight a.m. and then I got ready to go to church so that I could be there by ten o’clock.
On the way to church I stopped at burgerking so that I could purchase two egg and cheese croissants.
Yeah, I know I should only be eating one of those but their so tasty.
At least most of the time their tasty.
After church I came back home so that I could go to the gym.
I think I got to the gym by twelve forty-five p.m. and I was there for about an hour.
After the gym I stopped at the subway just down the street from where I live for lunch.
I got a twelve inch ham and cheese sub with lettuce.
I’m kind of plain when it comes to pretty much everything so I got my sub with just ham, swiss, and lettuce.
Oh and while I was at the gym I weighed my self and I’m a little embarrassed but I weigh 171 pounds.
That may not sound like much but I’m only 5’5’’ so to say the least I’m a little over weight.
I should ask my dad how much he weighs.
If I got down to 150 then I would be very happy, but I don’t think that’s going to happen for a long time.
On second thought I could just stop eating and I would probably drop all of that weight in probably a week I’m guessing.
I wouldn’t do that simply because I get cranky when I get hungry…
and not to mention I would be concerned about my blood sugar level dropping too low!
I haven’t been diagnosed as a diabetic yet but my dad and his brother both are so I’m concerned that might eventually happen to me so I’m taking steps to prevent that, as I sit here typing and drinking mt dew, from happening.
My sub for lunch sucked because the bread wasn’t very fresh.
That’s my only complaint about my lunch.
After I finished lunch I spoke with my friend chris on the phone for a little bit, he called me. Tomorrow after work I’m not going to the gym because I have my iron man movie to watch and my right arm still hurts.
Yesterday and earlier today I did the same workout routine.
I got on the bike and I pedaled for thirty minutes and then I went upstairs to the small “track” that they have and I walked around it once to stretch out my legs after doing all of the pedaling and then I did three sets of sit ups.
In each set I did ten sit ups and I rest for a couple of minutes between each set.
After that I go back downstairs and I use the pull thing that they have set up down there by the bench presses and stuff.
Its not a bar that goes straight across so it’s a little different than what they had us do in school. There is a couple of different kinds of grips that they have set up.
There’s two or three of them where you have to grip the bars close together on either side of your head, which I can do at least a couple of times.
And then there is this wide grip that looks like the handle bars on an old bicycle which I have not been able to do yet because its so far apart.
I’ve seen other people do that one from a distance so I know its possible, but its not possible for me.
At least not yet.
But anyways, I’m not going to be doing the pull up exercises at least for a week because my right wrist and right elbow hurt now because of it.
Yesterday when I went up to this pull up thing I was hardly able to do one at first but I think I was able to kind of do two of them.
Today when I went up to the contraption I was able to do one pull up easily but the next one wasn’t so easy.
Anyways, tomorrow after work I’m going to come home and watch the movie iron man. Yesterday and today when I went to the gym I wore a pair of shorts and one of my fancy t-shirts, but I didn’t wear my sweats.
My fancy t-shirts are shirts that have been cut to fit like a regular t-shirt but its made out of a thin material that feels almost like silk.
This fancy material is suppose to help keep you cooler making your sweat evaporate faster or something.
It’s a stretchy material but I wear the shirts loose so I don’t embarrass everyone with my stunning physical appearance.
But my dad is able to order them cheap because I guess he gets a discount from the company’s website.
I should ask my dad to get me some more of those.
Anyways, on Tuesday means I’ll lose more weight.
My immediate goal with going to the gym is lose weight, not get really muscular.
I know I sound like a girl when I say this but I want to lose weight around my stomach and hips and ass so that my cloths fit better.
I’ll probably go to the gym on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
I’ll skip Wednesday because I will be donating blood at the church I go to.
I think my appointment for the blood donation is seven-thirty so I could probably go to the gym right after work but I don’t want to because I haven’t given blood before.
I’m concerned that after I donate blood I’ll pass out and/or be too weak to drive myself home.
I don’t think that will happen because like I’ve told myself before, “I’m strong like bull”, but its still a concern.
I’m really not sure what else I want to talk about right now.
At seven I’m going to go panera bread to get dinner and then I also have to stop by meijers to pick up some food for my breakfasts during the coming week.
