Sweat is the lubricant of the world, or maybe its k-y jelly.
There, I am done with my journal entry now.
That first line is the reason why I bother to turn on my computer after I came back from the gym about a half hour ago.
I turned on my computer after I got back from the gym with the intention of just creating a journal entry.
I meant to write more than just that first line so I guess I was trying to be funny a couple of lines up.
Instead of getting right to the journal thing I decided that I was going to finish reading the rest of the book I was reading.
It’s the second book in the series of the true blood books.
Or I should say that the hbo series is based on the books, and the hbo series is called true blood. The first book of the series is called ‘dead until dark’ and the second book, the one that I just finished reading is called ‘living dead in dallas’ I think.
Both of them weren’t really that bad.
Before I go ahead and read the rest of them I am going to finish reading the rest of the books I already have.
The main reason why I guess I decided to read those books anyways was mostly because I liked the tv show and I was already done watching the first season of the tv show and I don’t have cable so I won’t be seeing the second season any time soon.
The very first book in the series is what the main chunk of the first season of the tv show is based on and I think part of the very last episode is actually in the second book, and of course just like with novels being made into movies there is considerable difference between the tv show and the books.
But I’m not complaining about the differences, I think the books (or at least the first two books in the series, those are the only two books of the series that I have read so far.) and the tv show are both very good.
I still don’t have much of a internet connection at my place.
I can’t really call it my house since its not really a house, and its not really an apartment.
I didn’t go to the gym yesterday but I did go Friday after work and I went earlier today.
Today when I went to the gym I just went in the sauna, which is basically just a room where they turn up the temperature really high so you sweat a lot.
I didn’t do any real exercising this weekend because on Wednesday or Thursday night while I was sleeping in my bed I pulled a muscle pretty badly in my right leg, below the knee.
When I’m a sleep or just during the day I get the urge to stretch, so usually I do stretch when I get the urge to do so.
In the past year or two when I’ve stretched my legs while I was in bed I pulled one of my calf muscles, or at least I think its called the calf muscle.
The muscle on the back part of your leg just below the knee.
Anyways, when I pull this muscle it really hurts, and I have done it several times over the past couple of years.
When I pull it I feel a sharp pain shoot through most of my body for an instant and then the sharp pain remains in my lower leg.
It hurts so much that I can’t set the leg down on my bed, so I just hold it for what seems like an hour (although I probably only hold it an inch or two off the mattress for a minute or two) before I finally set it down gently on my bed and then I try to go back to bed.
When I get out of bed the next morning I can walk but it usually hurts a little.
Most of earlier this week I went to the gym after work to sit in the sauna so I think that helped heal my leg faster than it otherwise would of healed.
Yesterday and today I probably could of gone to the gym and did what I usually do at the gym on the weekends.
I’m going to go get dinner now, and then after that I will go grocery shopping.
Reflections...

It's a long way down
and you missed a spot
on the window.
It's a quiet balance
washing away the
circles of my reflection.
